Finding Purpose Through
Mindfulness and Spirituality
Urban Atman is my newest project – but calling it a “project” feels almost too limiting. It’s not like the creative work you may know from me as JASE34. Urban Atman is something deeper, something that has grown quietly over the years, a calling that I couldn’t ignore. It’s less about crafting designs or visuals and more about living a purpose, answering a profound inner voice that has led me to reconnect with myself and the essence of existence.
The Journey of my Life
This journey began long ago, during my time as an ex-Vaishnava monk, and has evolved through decades of self-study, exploration, and training as a teacher of meditation and pranayama. Urban Atman is the result of this path – a fusion of my lived experiences, a way to share what I’ve learned and continue to learn. It’s a space where I can offer something back to the world: music that stirs the spirit, reflections that inspire balance, and simple tips for cultivating a more mindful life.
What is Urban Atman about?
In essence, Urban Atman isn’t just creativity; it’s a calling. It’s not a career move but a movement – one rooted in self-discovery and a quiet resistance against the noise of societal and familial conditioning. It’s my way of returning to the rhythms of nature and the timeless pulse of the spirit.
I also offer mindfulness workshops, meditation classes, and Bhakti Yoga sessions from time to time. These are not businesses for me – I see them as acts of service, my humble contribution to the world. There’s no advertising or push; I let it flow naturally. Whoever finds Urban Atman, I believe, does so as part of their own karmic journey. If it reaches just one heart, one soul, that’s enough.
Urban Atman is a philosophy – a living, breathing dharma dedicated to the well-being of all living beings. It’s about dissolving barriers, reconnecting with our inner essence, and gently weaving spirituality, art, and mindfulness into everyday life. I see every action as devotion, as a quiet prayer for freedom, unity, and healing.
Of course, my work as JASE34 continues. The visual creations, the designs – that’s where my focus remains in that space. Urban Atman, on the other hand, is for the soul.
If any of this resonates with you, feel free to explore more at Urban-Atman.com. Or come visit me at a workshop, a Dharma Talk, or simply in the quiet spaces this project creates. Every being is welcome here.
Thank you for reading and for your attention. And remember – even the smallest step toward balance, healing, and connection can transform the world.
With gratitude,
Alex aka JASE34
